How to save energy and electricity for air compressors?

Energy saving and emission reduction of air compressors has always been a hot issue of concern to all enterprise users. It is usually not a simple method to make the air compressor save energy while maintaining the original operating power efficiency, but you can try the following methods:

1. Improve the transmission efficiency of the air compressor
Air compressors mostly use V-belt to realize the transmission between the motor and the compressor. Although the V-belt has the advantages of smooth transmission, it is usually necessary to choose the way of multiple tapes in parallel. Each tape may be not tight-or there may be errors in the pulley groove. As a result, the load is uneven, the transmission efficiency is reduced, the electric energy is wasted, and the service life of the V-belt is also reduced. Choose high-quality, high-precision pulleys and tapes. Replace all tapes at one time when the load is uneven. Carefully adjust the center distance during installation to ensure that all tapes are under the same tension, which can effectively improve the transmission efficiency. However, the use of the V-belt transmission method still cannot completely eliminate the energy loss on the transmission. The use of the coaxial structure of the rotor and the motor can completely solve this problem, and it also increases the air volume operation and realizes the speed control of the air compressor in the full range.
